Who We Are
Julie Do, CPA, JD
Julie is the owner and sole member of our firm. As a trust and estate planning attorney, she values developing deep relationships with her clients to fully understand their goals and to craft tailored solutions for their estate planning needs. With a distinctive background combining both tax and legal expertise, Julie takes great pride in serving as a trusted advisor to her clients.
Julie earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. She is also a certified public accountant (CPA), holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Washington.
Before entering the legal profession, Julie spent over a decade in tax compliance and tax program management, working for multiple accounting firms as well as Amazon. Prior to founding Jules Legal PLLC, she practiced law at two Seattle-based law firms, where she advised clients on complex estate planning matters, guided them through estate and trust administration, and prepared estate tax returns.
As a second-generation immigrant, Julie is passionate about promoting diversity and representation within the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. She is dedicated to serving underrepresented communities, including immigrants, people of color, and LGBTQ individuals. Julie serves on the boards of the Vietnamese-American Bar Association of Washington as well as Seattle Clemency Project. She also volunteers her time in pro bono clinics for Sound Generations and Snohomish Legal County Services, providing free estate planning services to low-income seniors.
Outside of work, Julie loves staying active and spending time outdoors. Her favorite activities include Barre, yoga, standup paddleboarding, hiking, camping, snowboarding, skiing, and traveling.
